BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE | Blanket wraps & Capes

I know I say love every trend but this one I love for its versatility, you can throw it on top of anything. One important thing with building and styling your outfit is being comfortable and these I think allow you to do that. A wrap allows you to show off your outfit, still stay warm and its a nice alternative to wearing a coat. Below are my top 16 wraps and underneath the pictures you can find the links of where to purchase them from a range of high street stores.

CHRISTMAS | Wishlist 2014

I write a Christmas List every year (yes I know I'm 21 and so what?! lol) and I end up buying my self the things I ask people to get me. That way I'm not disappointed if I don't get what I ask for (come and see logic lol). This year I am trying to be more disciplined and not make it about the gifts. It is all to easy to get wrapped up in madness that surrounds Christmas and forget the reason for the season!!
The reason being to celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ!

So down below are some things that I would like but its not the be all and end all if I don't receive anything on there! As per the links for the items in the image can be found in the list below.

  1. Dr Martens
  2. Canon EOS M
  3. Quilted Rucksack
  4. Bomber Jacket
  5. Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation
  6. Quilted iPad Mini case
  7. Younique 3D Fibers
  8. Benefit Stay Flawless Primer
  9. Benefit Hello Flawless Powder

Happy Shopping and Merry Christmas everyone :D,

HOW TO STYLE | Camel coat

As stated in my last post, the camel coat is a staple piece this A/W. There are many ways to style this coat and a few are:

  • All black
    - This can range from a black top(turtle neck jumper, t-shirt or shirt)
    - Black bottoms(jeans, trousers, joggers, shorts, culottes, maxi, midi and mini skirt)
    - Black footwear (trainers, shoes, heels, ankle boots, knee high and thigh high boots)
-Accessories (clutch bag, tote, shoulder, bowling bag, beanie hat
  • The Casual look
    - This can be anything you want, your favourite t-shirt, shirt and/or hoody
    - Bottoms (any style jean in any colour, slim fit jogging pants, leggings)
    - Footwear (trainers, boots, flats)
-Accessories (rucksack, holdall, beanie hat, snapback)
  • Smart/casj look
-Tops (shirt, blouse, polo/turtleneck jumper, plain t-shirt)
-Bottoms (jeans, skirt, slim fit trousers)
    -Footwear (trainers, heels, flats etc)
-Accessories (clutch, small hand bag, rucksack, fedora, trilby, pork pie, bowler hat)
  • Smart look
    -Tops (shirt, blouse, jumper)
    -Bottoms (trousers, skirt
-Dresses (any style that is complimentary of your style and body type)
    -Footwear (smart flats, heels, boots)
    -Accessories (clutch, small hand bag)

These lists seem quite extensive but really its quite repetitive. A lot of the items of clothing I listed can be easily swapped for something else so making your perfect outfit isn't as hard as it seems ;-)

COAT EDIT | Affordable Camel coats

The camel coat is one of the most coveted coats this season and here are a few reasons why;
  1. It's a classic colour.
  2. It's a classic style.
  3. Point 1 and 2 make it a timeless coat.
The key to building a wardrobe with a good collection of clothing is to buy timeless pieces! No one wants to spend hundreds upon hundreds of pounds on buy a new autumn/winter coat every year.

I have looked through the internet and browsed the high street to find a mixture of affordable and a little expensive alternatives for this colour coat. Please find below the links and places of where to find the items. Happy shopping :D xx
